END FEST is a hybrid form everlasting festival for the arts and the audience founded in 2016 and organized by MOTHERS OF DALES AND MOUNTAINS. End Fest proposes the simple fact that every end is a beginning, in our constant re-development of form. €L€M€MTS is the 2nd edition of End Fest ever to see the light off the day. First END FEST was held in March 2017 to critical acclaim, inventing the most beautiful way to end all ends. For the second edition, we invited Tamara Alegre to bring a fest to life and she decided to do an offspring of the P0$$€ format: P0$$€ €PIS0D€ “ELEMENTS”.
P0$$€ dance and reading is a weekly gathering for people wanting to spend time dancing and reading together. It started on February 2017 at DOCH, University of Dance and Circus in Stockholm and takes place every Tuesday. Each P0$$€ is hosted by a practitioner from the dance and choreography field who proposes a text and a dance to be shared. The content of the PO$$E is responsive to the participants proposals or ideas and its organized by a team of girls. PO$$E’s current initiators are Lisen Pousette, Klara Utke Acs, Chloe Chignell and Tamara Alegre.
P0$$€ €PI$0D€ ~ €ND F€$T is an expanded version of P0$$€. The first occasion for P0$$€ as a public event, a translocation of the dance and reading group towards different environments and audiences. A one-off event for END FEST
Tamara Alegre is a choreographer, dancer and curator, currently based in Stockholm where she studies at the MA program in Choreography at University of Dance and Circus. She has been music and performing arts curator for Les Urbaines and Le Bourg in Lausanne, and is now realising her own choreographic work, as well as performing in works by Nikima Jagudajev, Mårten Spångberg and La Ribot.
